Old Soul

You know that song "New Soul" by Yael Naim? That was my mantra when I moved to Boise...which happens to be one year ago today. My point? I'm not sure I have one. But since I've been here for a year I don't think I qualify as a "new soul" anymore.

Normally I'm big on anniversaries like this. I like to reflect on where I've been and what I've learned. But when I realized the significance of today I was like, "eh."

So here's my apathetic take on the past year:
Boise is decent. Not great. Not bad. Just decent.
Learned a lot.
Became a part time zip liner.
Met some cool people. (need to meet more)
Learned how to play the role of weatherman.
Opened up a little more.
Adopted Merlin. (he's gotten big)

The past year flew by. FLEW. I see the next year (until March 2010) as a time for development...personally and professionally.

I'll leave it at that.
