I had a really good weekend. On Saturday I went on up to Big Sky Ski Resort and a fun-filled day riding in the powder. I was also there to film the 3rd Annual Big Sky Dummy Jump. Every year the resort builds a huge ski jump for helpless, hapless dummies....dummies built by whomever wants to enter the competition. It was awesome. We aired highlights on the news tonight. Really good video!! Have a look.
It was awesome. Good to be there.
So, I'm being bothered by something that's really, really lame. I lost my debit card about two weeks ago and had to order a new one from the bank. I got it tonight in the mail and...well...I don't like it. Specifically, I don't like the design on the card. My old card had a nice picture of Lone Mountain at Big Sky Resort. A local picture from a local bank. I liked it. My new card has a dull, ugly picture of Crater Lake. I don't like it....at all. I know it's really petty and dumb, but I want my old card back.
I just got home, got on my computer, and saw on MSNBC.com the breaking news about a gunman on the rampage at Trolley Square. Scary stuff. I haven't lived in Salt Lake for a while but I got a pain in my gut when I read about it. Praying and thinking about everyone involved.

I am so with you on the debit card. But really, consider yourself more fortunate that others. My debit card is one big billowing American flag. Seriously, it covers the whole card. I've complained several times to the bank, but they won't budge. The colors don't run and all.
Oh Lincoln...I miss you...the part about the whole debit card cracked me up! Don't be hating on Crater Lake...you may find after awhile you'll come to like the new picture...maybe...or not.
