I'm having cramps.
Or at least that's what I'm comparing them to. One side effect of the antibiotics I'm taking is abdominal pain. Intense, painful cramping in my gut. It sucks. I imagined today that "this must feel what it's like to be a woman."
I thought I might get a little sympathy from my female co-workers when I said this. I was empathizing with them after all. Instead, I got this: (said in a mean, nasty voice).
"Now you know what it feels like. Now you know what I'm experiencing when I come in here once a month acting like a bitch."
My response: "What's your excuse every other time?"
I love you Beth. :)

So are you chewing your antibiotics or swallowing them whole like a big boy? :)
Umm...just to let you know...you're opening yourself up to a whole world of trouble with this post...I decline to comment because I refuse to be that girl.
i don't want to be "that girl" either. so intead i'll just ask, are you taking the meds on a full stomache?
i always said you were just like a woman.
or wait. maybe I always said you were a woman.
either way.
To all the girls out there: Am I in trouble for this post?
katie: thank you for opening my eyes.
sarah: both. they said I could take it with or without food.
liz: i hate you. not really, but you know.
don't worry, you won't always have to put up with cramps.
because, you know, you'll be going through menopause.
